Founded in 2009 as part of the Mofet B’Yehuda Innovation Accelerator, a technological incubator of the Trendlines Group. The company received seed investments from Mofet and from the Israeli government through the Office of the Chief Scientist, Ministry of Industry, Labor and Trade.

According to industry reports, over 180 million smartphones were sold in 2009. As the market is poised to grow by 33% through 2012, MicroPointing believes the competitive landscape demands innovative technologies which solve the industry’s unmet needs.
